The Ebook “That Affiliate Marketing Ebook” is an e-book written by Sallie Stone. It can be found here. The book is a learning guide for both beginners and higher level affiliate marketers and includes helpful information regarding how to do profitable affiliate marketing and general information. Here is why I would not recommend reading it.
When looking at the index, the first thing you will notice is that it is very long and contains the words “Affiliate Marketing” over and over. “Basic Information Covering What An Affiliate Program Can Help You To Achieve”, “Choosing An Appropriate Affiliate Program – Learn More Now”, “Earn More Profits Because of An Affiliate Program” and so on… These headlines look more like Google Ads than actual chapters.
The Ebook starts with a chapter with the very long name “Basic Information Regarding An Affiliate Program and All That It Is About”. The first thing I notice is that the sentences are short and static, written in an informal way, as well as unnecessary spelling mistakes already from page 1: “It allows you to get products together quickly for your new online business quickly and cheaply”. or this sentence that I do not understand the meaning of at all: “Do not waste times on skeptics or none motivate people?”. What does that even mean?? I am starting to think that the book has been translated in Google Translate.
The book never really gets to a straight point. Each chapter seems to try to reassure you that you WILL eventually understand the importance of affiliate marketing, but that it might be hard at first. To me, this just sounds discouraging to me as a reader. There is a lot of chit-chat happening without getting straight to the point, which already shows in the repetitive index.
1,5 out of 5
The book is shallow and only touches briefly on ways to “do” or “improve” affiliate marketing. There are no pictures to aid, nor real-life examples to back up the information. One thing I do appreciate is the part “Earn More Profits Because of An Affiliate Program” because it gives you the pro’s and cons of joining or not joining an affiliate program. I would give this book a 1,5 out of 5 score because there is still some useful information regardless of the boring, bad writing.
