How often should you eat?
It is never ok to starve yourself, because this is a bad way to lose weight. Your metabolism slows down and you will tend to lose muscle more than fat. It is good to eat three meals a day and some healthy snacks during the day. Stop eating before you feel full and take your time. It actually takes a few minutes before your brain tells your body that it has had enough food, so eat slowly.
After all that talk about the importance of food, why exercise? Exercise is the beginning of being and staying fit and healthy. It determines how you lose and even gain weight, because of the process in the workout of your muscles. You will lose calories during your workout and it promotes strength, endurance and resistance to injuries and sickness. But where do you begin? Exercise exists out of two types: cardio and weights.
