Keyboards are the thing we look at every day. We are so used to them, most of the time we can just type without even paying attention to which button of the keyboard we are pressing exactly but did you know that years ago, the keyboard was initially created with alphabetical order. People used to type so fast that the back then mechanism of the typewriter was not able to handle it. The people, who were using it, would type so quickly that the hammers would hit each other and get into the way of one another. Even though typewriters were extremely fast due to the alphabetical order that was not sufficient for the mechanic. A person named Christopher Sholes was intrigued by the happening, so he came with the idea of slowing people down he thought that it would prevent the mechanical parts from jam. Sholes later on came up with the idea of randomly moving the letters around, so that they are in no logical order. That is how the QWERTY layout was invented.
There are rumours that say that the QWERTY layout was arranged in a way that you can write ’’TYPEWRITER’’ from just using one row, which was meant so that typewriter salesmen could demonstrate with ease how a typewriter functions without being proficient in typing. (It is true, look at the first row of your keyboard.)
The Gaming Keyboard
That particular type of keyboard was with a layout that is comfortable only for gamers. The most used letters of the keyboard were placed in the centre, making it way easier to use. Unfortunately, the original keyboard was not meant for gamers.
The Mini Keyboard
With the development of technology, consumers started searching for smaller and smaller gadgets to make their life easier. Considering the size of the first computer and the size of a keyboard were quite large, whereas the technology kept developing into producing something smaller, practical and more compact. The most interesting quality of the mini keyboard for that time was that it was wireless.

The laser Keyboard
Of all keyboards ever invented, this one for sure can be granted the strangest keyboard title. The looks of the tech are extremely science-fiction, almost as if it was just imagination. The keyboard needs a flat service to project itself from a cigarette like laser, when the user wants to type they simply need to touch the surface covered with the laser and that way the device will process it as typing
The laser keyboards can be bought all over the internet. The device is offered in numerous websites which invite customers by offering them to get tech. The controversy with ‘’get tech ’’ is that the keyboard was actually developed in the early 1992, and 10 years later a Canadian company decided to produce the prototype, which means that one of the most exciting and new technologies has been thought through for the past 20 years. Even though, it is already being sold, people steel feel sceptical and kind of reserved to the actual quality of the product.
