There are commonly asked questions about foundation tools: brush or sponge?
What tool to use to apply foundation? Brush or sponge? There are too many tools to choose.
I prefer to use brush & sponge. Apply to the one side of face and use a sponge to constantly dab. (Before you begin, web the sponge and it will help to smooth out the application.) However, there is not an only way it depends on the seasons, or foundation types.
Step 1: spray mist (for those with dry or rough skin) over the brush 2-3 times.
Step 2: Put the brush on you hand and gently dab to let the brush absorb the mist.
Step 3: Apply a foundation primer on your palm, and sweep the brush to soak the foundation into the brush.
Step 4: Use broad, downward strokes and gently sweep.
Step 5: Softly dab the brush to remove a smudge.
It’s really just using a sponge to apply your foundation. This is my favorite! It is fast and easy to use, there’s no streaking involved at all, super flawless finish in like half a second.
Step 1: Immerse the sponge in warm water, and squeeze it as strong as you can! And pour foundation onto the one side of your face. (Don’t apply onto a whole face, it will get dry soon and a race of the foundation remains.)
Step 2: Consistently dab onto your face. (Do not sweep, it will look cakey!)
Step 3: If you need more foundation, pour more foundation on your palm, and dab with your sponge.
